A distinctive atmosphere with the local community
The local community gathers in the square of the church to celebrate the feast of St. Theresa, on the 1st and the 2nd of October of each year.
The ladies of the village of El Ebreh prepare delicious local dishes (Kebbeh, Sanbousik etc.) and desserts (Nammoura, Sfouf) in advance and at live cookery stands, and the local spirit Arak and homemade syrups as beverages.
The priest of the village celebrates three masses over the two feast days.
More than 600 visitors take part of this fascinating ritual with live traditional Lebanese music around the village!

From to St. Takla in the village of Yahchouch, the total distance is approximately 50 km
Free shuttle buses are available for pick-ups from St.Takla’s church to St.Theresa’s church and back
